Bill Paxton has been a little away from main stream cinema, from quite some time now.

I guess the reason behind that was to get the roles that deserved him.

We see him when we watch Big Love or get a download of the series, and I don’t think I need to tell you that these episodes prove him to be a fine actor.

Given these facts, I guess his wait was justified.

But now the wait is over!

Oh yeah! This ‘one hell of an actor’ is going to star in an epic American Folklore drama.

‘The Hatfields and McCoys: An American Vendetta’ will see him as a part of it. And he is not the only big shot actor in that project.

Guess who will be accompanying him?

Kevin Costner!

Bill will play the role of Randall McCoy and Kevin will don ‘Devil’ Anse Hatfield’s role. The project will be directed by Kevin Reynolds and is a much anticipated one.

Another piece of fact is that this project, instead of being a movie, will be a miniseries for the History Channel

Although the folklore is such, that it needs no introduction, but still, for the ones who have forgotten it, lemme give you a quick idea.

This is the story of friends turned foes – McCoy and Hatfield. They are shown returning to their native villages, after the civil war and then grows a story of misunderstanding, leading to some gruesome murders.

The clash of the families grew so big, that ultimately the Supreme Court had to intervene and had that not happened, one more civil war was pretty much on the cards, according to some historians.

Looks like there will be some big scenes in the TV movie!

No wonder, it is going to be worth all the wait that it puts you through!

Bill Paxton! No discussion on actors can ever be complete without this name getting a mention. And when Bill Paxton gets associated with any work, then it’s almost certain that it would become a huge hit!

Look at Big Love, the show that we love to download! What this show has become of today, is largely due to the efforts of Bill and his acting skills!

I do not mean to say that he is the only factor that has driven the show to insurmountable success. All that I am saying is that this man is someone who made this show extra special with the kind of flavor he brought to it with his acting.

And now, Bill has lent his voice for the purpose of narration to a new movie. The movie is from the stable of IMAX and is titled Tornado Alley. It presents to you the stories of men who chose to follow tornadoes and capture them in their cameras.

They appear to do this for two reasons: either to collect scientific data or for commercial success! The film captures the tornado followers with both these motives and presents their stories through the voice of Bill Paxton.

Now, if you remember, in 1996, Bill starred in a similar feature film named Twister, so it’s apparent that he would have been quite nostalgic while working in Tornado Alley. Turns out that he was quite the appropriate choice for this movie!

Tornado Alley is named after the real tornado alley, a belt that is prone to tornados, and which stretches from South Dakota to Texas. It is a belt that sees 80% (yes, you read it right!) of the worlds’ worst tornados throughout the year!

It sure would be a good movie! After all Bill chose to do it! And hey, even if it was an average movie, I am sure Bill would have turned it into a masterpiece with his voice!

Just kidding! It sure is a great movie!

Bill Paxton is one successful actor, who never falls short of roles, come what may. The actor has carved a special place for himself in the minds of those who watch the series, Big Love regularly, where he plays the lead.

An upcoming action film called Haywire, which has been keeping the action buffs in the watchdog mode for a while now, will be hitting the big screen in January 2012.

Now you must be wondering why I am talking about this movie?

Well, this film has Bill Paxton playing an important character in the story.

The star will be seen alongside Gina Carano, who plays the protagonist, as well as the female lead in this action extravaganza.

Now, while a number of people are game to catch this MMA fighter on the big screen, there are numerous others who are awaiting this release, only because of Bill.

The film will show Gina as a person, who undertakes special missions. This tough girl discovers that she has been ditched by the man, whom she confided in the most. And thus, begins an intriguing tale of a revengeful war, where the woman goes hell bent on destroying the man who betrayed.

Well, as for Bill, we’re pretty sure he’s going to do complete justice to the role that has been given to him in the film.
